What A Testimony

Clay's mother Jessie passed away this past week and her funeral was held this Sunday on Mother's Day. It was such a blessing to so many Sunday to see how dedicated Clay is to his faith. Not only did he and his son Clay III come to Sunday School but they came back that evening for the regular evening service. I don't think many people could have been that strong. But I'm reminded of what Clay said about God doing everything in perfect time. I saw a passion in them to serve even through this sad time. It was uplifting to so many of us there this mother's day.

What a wonderful testimony to always have.

Baptisim of Brenda and Ruby Chastain 5-3-09

Mother and daughter were baptized Sunday before last here at the church. Brenda has been here at the church for quite some time now with her daughter Ruby. Ruby is fourteen years old and is in the 8th grade at Clay County Middle School. Now the whole family has been baptized. We thank God for the both of them and continue to pray for his blessings upon their life.

Glenna was baptized this past Sunday evening as friends and family came together to celebrate in her new walk with Christ. We pray that she will continue to grow and that her life glorifies his word. We Thank God for Glenna.

The Baptistery has been getting filled up quite a bit lately. Praise God!!! We were so happy to see yet another person getting baptized this past Sunday evening. We hope that Randy continues to grow in God's word. We Thank God for Randy.

Baptisim 4-26-09 (Mack Douglas Asher)

We were all so excited to see Mack not Zack lol baptized this past Sunday. His friends and family gathered around to watch as he was baptized. Mack is fourteen years old and a freshmen at Clay County High School. He is involved in the JAM (Jesus and Me) Club which is a faith based club at the school which is growing. It is so good to see young people with a such a desire to serve the Lord. We Thank God for Mack and Pray that he continues to grow and be a light to other young people that he comes into contact with.
