Perfect Harmony

But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased.
1 Corinthians 12:1

Becoming a part of the body of Christ does not mean that we lose our individuality. Everyone is different, God created us that way; we are the ones who create the separation by thinking that we all have to talk the same, dress the same, etc. We are who God created us to be, and have our perfect position in the body of Christ. We have a responsibility to share the love of Christ and the Gospel with others, but it is not our duty to create clones of ourselves in them, and then shun them if they do not meet our expectations. It simply does not work that way. Can you imagine a body with all the same parts? It would be quite ridiculous. We a ll have to be ourselves. God is the one who creates the permanent changes from within our hearts. He gives gifts, talents, and ability as He chooses to do so, and He is doing a work within each of us that is preparing us for that purpose. He orchestrates each part of the body, and causes them to work in perfect harmony together.
